Follow the build as Alan Dawson constructs the first Adaptahaus. Not only to test the system he has designed and built himself, but also to be his dream family home. Alan makes the house in pieces in his workshop; with wiring, lighting, plumbing, and even carpets built into the sections which are then taken to site by lorry for construction. With only seven days to construct the house, and every part designed to perfect precison, only when it's time for it to be assembled on site will Alan know for sure whether his £300,000 idea works.
